JOHN M. HALL John M. Hall graduated from the State University of New York at Albany, receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History (summa cum laude) in 1973. He then attended Syracuse University where he received his law degree in 1976 (cum laude). After law school, he became the second Hall to join the law firm, working with his father, Richard E. Hall and his partner Edward Zerrillo.
In 1982, John was elected Town Judge for the Town of Clay. He held this position for 25 years, retiring in 2007. Over this remarkable tenure as a Town Judge, John developed a reputation for his fairness in handling cases as well as his knowledge of the law.
John’s reputation as a judge is only surpassed by his reputation for his far-reaching knowledge of the law in the area of wills and estate planning. For over the past 30 years, John has assisted thousands of families and individuals develop the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that after they have passed away both their loved ones and their assets will be protected. John also assists those persons facing the daunting costs of nursing home care protect their savings through the use of trusts and other estate planning tools.
John also has assisted thousands of families buy the home of their dreams, and has an extensive knowledge of real estate law.
John is a member of the following organizations: NYS Magistrates Association, NYS Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association, NYS Bar Association Elder Law Section and is also admitted to practice law in the Northern District of New York Federal Court. |
